The Day of
Everlasting Knock
I got an image from the poem, written by an Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore,
which had a theme of “death and life.”
I was trying to shut away from “death” that comes to every single living
organism unconsciously.
However, I
came across Tagore, who expressed joy of living in order to confront death,
so my mind was changed.
What could
I devote when the time comes I die? I would dedicate all of my weaving
works.
My weaving works are filled with all of my life.
I weave while I conceive the thought of confronting death, and at the
same time, I can feel joy of life.
